Client Comment & Testimonials
“I am getting along
so much better with my In-Home Aide helping me to get myself ready
for the day. Before I started having someone to help, it was taking
such a long time to get my bath and get dressed. I get tired very
easily because of some breathing problems.”
“My arthritic
knees have limited my ability to stand for long periods. My hands
and arms also hurt when I’m trying to do basic chores around the
house. Having my In-Home Aide assist me is worth more to me than I
can describe. I was having trouble cooking for myself and was afraid
to get in the tub when I was alone at home…now that’s not a
problem anymore.”
“I’m almost a
hundred years old and there are still some things I can do for my
self, however I don’t take chances anymore because I’ve gotten
weaker and don’t want to fall. My In-Home Aide is there to make
sure I’m safe when I move about the house and she does things for
me that I can’t do for myself.”
“Mother just
loves having her In-Home Aide come in each day! They have a good
rapport and have developed their own daily routine. I try not to
bother them when they are together because the In-Home Aide is able
to get her to do things that I can’t get her to do. I don’t know
what we would do without her!”
“I am so happy
that my family made a decision to have an In-Home Aide assist my
Dad. It was getting more difficult for my Mother to get him ready
for the day. His Doctor told us what we could expect when he was
diagnosed with progressive memory loss 3 years ago. The In-Home Aide
has the patience and training to keep my Dad focused. My Mother also
gets a chance to get out and have some time for herself while the
In-Home Aide is there assisting my Dad.”
“Knowing that
someone is going to be there for my Mom each morning has been such a
blessing. It was especially helpful on the day that the In-Home Aide
arrived and found that Mother was not able to open the door…she
had fallen that morning on her way to the bathroom. The In-Home Aide
called me immediately and I was there within a few minutes to open
the door. We called EMS to make sure she was not injured. Had it not
been for the In-Home Aide’s regularly scheduled visit, it may have
been several hours longer before my sister and I would have
discovered that something was wrong. This incident also prompted us
to get an Emergency Response button”
“It
was hard for me to admit that I needed help. I have always been so
independent and did not think there was anyone that I could feel
comfortable enough with to help we with personal things. I have been
very pleased to have my In-Home Aide. We work so well together and
I’m so comfortable with her. I’m so glad I made the decision to
get the help I need!”
