“My arthritic knees have limited my ability to stand for long periods. My hands and arms also hurt when I’m trying to do basic chores around the house. Having my In-Home Aide assist me is worth more to me than I can describe. I was having trouble cooking for myself and was afraid to get in the tub when I was alone at home…now that’s not a problem anymore.”

The In-Home Aide called me immediately and I was there within a few minutes to open the door. We called EMS to make sure she was not injured. Had it not been for the In-Home Aide’s regularly scheduled visit, it may have been several hours longer before my sister and I would have discovered that something was wrong. This incident also prompted us to get an Emergency Response button”
